How many steps does the Test Has

You all know that the process of IELTS [International English Language Testing System] is categorized into four sections – Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Your test starts with listening which is the most difficult section. Because native speakers make conversation with their natural accent and fluency. That is not matched with the non-native listeners. To solve the trouble, many instructions are given to you in your classroom training that is not enough to tackle the problem. So ask a question yourself, how many words do you read daily, and how many words you can listen to properly to make an adequate answer? What is the answer? Write honestly. You will find you spend most of the time of the day indulging in non-important activities under the title of the study.

  • The first tip is –to focus on your target. Make a collection of topics as- traveling, adventure, cooking, education, modern technology, the culture of English-speaking countries, desires of the young generation, economic and social conditions, etc. How many topics you can prepare and listen to, depends upon your efforts. If you handle one topic daily, 30 topics you can listen to properly and can answer quickly without any hesitation.
  • 2nd tip is- to watch curiously BBC channel. It telecasts a variety of programs by native speakers on different issues. The live telecast will help you to improve your listening.
  • 3rd tip is – to keep a pencil and a notebook in your hand for note-making about what have you listened to. Review and make a summary. Your efforts make you a practical listener.

Writing Section

Writing demands more practice than reading because writing your own views is absolutely different from reading the views of others. Writing your own views on a particular topic in the nick of time probably confused many candidates. Because of irregularity in practice, inefficiency in sentence formation and lack of vocabulary, and dearth of critical and analytical thinking. If you make efforts to practice with the given guidelines of using ‘part of speech’  and learn the use of the clause, phrasal verbs, phrasal proposition,  articles [a, an, the], gerunds, and participle. These are integral parts of writing skills. A book you can buy ‘IELTS Writing Made Easy’ written by ‘George John’ has included 300 essays.

Speaking Section

Speaking needs fluency. Fluency depends upon your vocabulary and the art of expressing views. You should use the formula – ten questions and one clue card practice with your classmate daily. In one month you have learned 300 questions and 30 clue cards. All the sections are interrelated. If you start with one section. It helps directly or indirectly to improve your English Language. You can sign in for those websites and channels where native speakers train you to overcome the fear of speaking.
